Starting a photography blog has been running through my mind for a while now. I bought a Canon Rebel T3i (my first DSLR) a few months ago and thought a photo blog might push me to really learn how to use it. I tried to talk myself out of it. After all, I already have more than enough projects that aren't getting finished (since I also have a
genealogy obsession) so I really shouldn't start something else.
Obviously, I don't listen to myself.
For now I'll be posting photos taken over the past few years with various cameras but the goal is to eventually transition to recent shots taken with the Rebel. Constructive criticism/advice is more than welcome because learning to be a better photographer is the real goal here.
To start things off, here's a shot from my favorite place, Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
